Some properties are so special that they require a very light and strategic touch. Without diving into a full remodel, we updated this 1930s cottage-style home by cleaning up sightlines, adding millwork, and reconfiguring key spaces for better flow and functionality.

New custom stone fireplace surrounds, dark herringbone floors, and a historic color palette help elevate this home without stripping it of its inherent quirk and charm.

We worked with expert carpenter, Jasper Montgomery, to extend a floating wall in the primary suite, create a functional dining nook, carve out a laundry room on the lower level, and update existing built-ins with new doors and cladding.

Wallpaper, new lighting, copious amounts of paint, and custom furnishings were layered on top to create a lived-in feel that honors and enhances the original features of the home.
